CONNECT is a non-profit organization that works with NYC's communities to prevent interpersonal violence and promote gender justice. Transforming the culture of violence and building the capacity of communities to respond to the complex needs of survivors.

I worked with a team virtually as a Creative Intern with 100 Roses of Concrete G.R.O.W.T.H. Initiative to create a brand communications campaign with the goal of growing brand awareness is a more modern and bold way to engage a younger audience. Through initial research and strategy development, we worked with them to create a tv spot commercial and campaign to improve their recognition as an organization that brings awareness to interpersonal violence.

The “Belong For Better” campaign is all about bringing awareness to the young generation to partake in the environment protection mission, help them build the influence on domestic and interpersonal violence environmental issues. Bringing in people, as citizens and New Yorkers -- to be a part of the change; to be a part of their communities; be the change to draw the line that says, "enough is enough!"

In digital and social platforms, we highlighted the work of bringing awareness and educating the target audience to CONNECT’s simplicity with the complex issue. Using Instagram to tell stories of making and doing across a variety of creative disciplines and illustrating that no matter who you are, it can happen to anyone.

The website is a new rebrand connecting with the campaign, the opportunity to have the donation page have more visual elements and increase donations. Overall reflecting a marked improvement across key brand perception drivers in trustworthiness, connection and relevance.
